Shine Wyoming is seeking passionate and purpose-driven

individuals to serve on our Board of Directors. Our mission is to

empower individuals and families through educational advocacy,

trauma-informed support, and self-sufficiency programs. We are seeking visionary leaders to help us shine even brighter.  Shine is seeking Board Members now!

We help families bridge communication gaps with schools, ensuring every child has access to a fair and supportive education. 

• ✅ IEP & 504 Plan Support – Guidance in understanding and advocating for special education accommodations. 
• ✅ School Meeting Representation – Support in advocating for student needs and accommodations. 
• ✅ Parent & Educator Training – Workshops on special education rights, trauma-informed teaching, and advocacy skills. 
• ✅ Resource Navigation – Connecting families with tutors, special education services, and learning supports. 

We provide hands-on case management for children and adults who have experienced trauma, addiction, or Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). 

• ✅ Trauma-Informed Parenting (Love & Logic) – Evidence-based workshops to support positive parenting techniques. 
• ✅ Crisis Prevention & Support – Case management for families overcoming trauma and navigating behavioral health systems. 
• ✅ Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Programs – Tools to help individuals develop emotional regulation and resilience. 
• ✅ Collaboration with Behavioral Health Providers – Connecting families with mental health and crisis intervention resources. 

We help families move toward financial and personal independence by equipping them with life skills, job readiness, and community resources. 

• ✅ Financial Literacy & Budgeting Workshops – Teaching smart money management, savings, and financial planning. 
• ✅ Job Readiness & Career Development – Resume building, interview coaching, and employment connections. 
• ✅ Life Skills Training – Education on time management, communication, and household organization. 
• ✅ State & Community Resource Navigation – Helping families access and transition away from state assistance with confidence.
